Growyn is one of many start-up companies in Sweden that are working for social change. This short film takes a look at the social activist and entrepreneur as one individual. It examines the ambitions and goals of the people behind Growyn, as well as the unique conditions for social entrepreneurship that exist in Sweden today.

I am married to a Swede , we are considering moving back to SE.
I like grew up in an entrpenuerial background, 1960's,We saw the need for a change.Powers turned out to be more determined to put their boot on the back of our necks &uphold old money plutocracy. paid off judas kiss ups and took over our democracy by leveraged buyout ,to represent special interests.Now that's a master plan! Sell the people into Financial endenturement.

For instance. If a retail shop decides to prolong its working hours from 21:00h to 01:00h in the morning (in some enterpreneurs literature this is often an example of how to increase competitiveness), and the local goverment allows this (a trendy goverment), you will soon have all retail store working late hours. The competitive advantage will soon vanish, but thousand of people will suddenly have to go late asleep - say the least ! ...

The only choice of the state, then is / was(?) to follow the principles of global market rather then that of people (who should represent), hoping that in the end it would bring more benefit then cost out of it. However, competitive advantage does not last for long, because the adjustments of others. At the end adjusting ever more to some figure, bringing more and more cost and less benefit to the society. ...

This seems as a move in a positive direction, since bussines up to today were predominantly interested mainly in profits, very often making terrible social, cultural and ecological dissasters. Economy should certainly be more in the service of the people and not otherwise. But very often the companies have little choice to make, because the harsh "laws" of globalised market competition, outside influence of any state alone.
