Portrait of a reluctant gentleman
There are many rumors about Eugen: That he was a chemist who made his own amphetamine for example. In this portrait Eugen is captured in a handful of surrealistic images, while he reluctantly shares his thoughts.
“The only thing I can honestly say is that I have never been in an aerial act… That’s not on my CV but apart from that, I’ve dabbled in everything… I’ve done my share of things, both good and bad. I’ve done a lot of mischief too… If you only know…”
I am Ziggy
Maria Wigren, 17, has Asperger's syndrome. She's been bullied and tried to commit suicide several times. But out of the role of victim, Ziggy is born.
Ziggy is passionate about wigs and David Bowie, and most of all she refuses to be a victim.
Deductible Karin
Karin’s specialty is cleaning chandeliers. Thanks to the new rules under which household-related services are tax deductible in Sweden, her business is doing well. Most of her customers live in the posh Stockholm districts.
“There is an entrance that leads directly into the kitchen,” one of the women tells Karin, who is self-employed; the days of maids and servants are not that long ago.
Civil Servant P327JUM
“You have to get up in time, so you can get to work in time, so you can get home in time, so you can get to bed in time… Life's supposed to be a bit grim sometimes. I like ordinary days when nothing very festive happens. No cake with your coffee. We’re not just here to have fun.”
