Altewai.Saome

Altewai.Saome offers an eclectic mixture of Scandinavian simplicity and international high fashion. Behind the brand are two Swedish-born designers, Natalia Altewai and Randa Saome. The spring/summer 2013 collection is inspired by geometry, combining strict lines with layers, mixed materials and various colors.

Dagmar

Dagmar was founded in 2005 by three sisters and named after their original muse — their grandmother Dagmar, who was a seamstress. The spring/summer 2013 collection is inspired by the new bio-architecture, where high-tech homes are built in ancient-style carved caves and other sites that reference humankind’s earliest history.

Diana Orving

Sweden-based Diana Orving has been a women’s wear label since 2000. This completely self-taught designer started selling one-off garments at the age of 15. The spring/summer 2013 collection is inspired by the simplicity and purity of the rectangle, the square and the circle. The collection is characterized by a relaxed elegance and effortless everyday luxury look.

Filippa K Woman

Filippa K makes wearable fashion for modern urbanites who appreciate good design and quality. The brand was founded 1993 in Stockholm by Filippa Knutsson and Patrik Kihlborg. The spring/summer 2013 collection explores the iconic Filippa K look with the sophisticated feminine and the sharp masculine.

Hernández Cornet

The Swedish fashion brand Hernández Cornet is made by designer Ana Hernández. In the spring/summer 2013 collection workwear meets couture, in silk noil dungarees, organza overalls, wrap shorts in cotton twill and a pearl PVC apron dress.

Hope

Hope’s signature style is low-key, raw and authentic. The designers Ann Ringstrand and Stefan Söderberg founded Hope in 2001 with the concept of Hope as consistent and recognizable. The spring/summer 2013 collection is inspired by the handicraft of macramé — a folk art that was created by sailors in Japan and Europe in the 17th century.

The Local Firm

The Local Firm is a Sweden-based fashion jeans brand that combines high fashion with innovative jeans design. The spring/summer 2013 collection is called TLF Tribe, drawing inspiration from urban European club kids of the early 1990s. Large geometric shapes are in focus, worn with body-hugging Lycra garments in layers.

Maria Nordström

Maria Nordström is a graduate of The Swedish School of Textiles in Borås. In 2009 she launched her own label and the spring/summer 2013 collection “02 Shields” explores architectural lines and employs the absolute finest quality fabrics and tailoring, sharply contrasting with its use of PVC and rubber coatings.

Stylein

Stylein was established in 2001 by Elin Nyström and is based in Gothenburg, in the west of Sweden. The spring/summer 2013 collection is Stylein’s most abstract yet, with an expression of distinct straight lines and solid shapes. The materials used are a mix of weightlessness and compact volume.

Tiger of Sweden

Tiger of Sweden’s history started in 1903 in Uddevalla, a small town on the Swedish west coast. The brand has its foundation in solid tailoring skills refined for over 100 years. The spring/summer 2013 collection is a playful tribute to the flamboyant and never-ending party where everyone is invited to play and create.
