I married a Swede. Went to her hometown, near Stockholm, for two weeks a month before we married.
What I don't understand is how a people who are so comfortable with clothing-optional find it so hard to open up about their feelings.
I've tried reading Åke Daun's Swedish Mentality with no solution.

I spent some time studying in Sweden in 2006. I can't express the well being I felt living in there. Its just that everything seemed to be plain logical, from buildings to people behaviour everything seemed to make sense, to be pragmatical. It also helps how the environment is being kept healthy (again, just common sense applied to the whole of society).
I specially would admire if they can keep up living like that on this time of savage capitalism and dehumanization.

Cold country! I like Sweden. It's cold 7-8 months of the year there and the swedish people aren't really that famous for being talkative but they can be very friendly. But of all the places I've been though, I am proud to have been in Sweden for some weeks! Knowing Sweden is marvelous! The contents maybe too general, never mind, that's may proof all interviewers were really picked up on the street..hehe! I am a HK girl n visited there in mid-Mar @Stockholm & Sunne (nearby Karlstad) for 10 days. SE could promote her natural beauty as those are the valuable assets which no one is compatiable from others in EU. SE hasn't had many architectures and accent culture; however, cleaniess, white & green (winter & summer), comfortable and pure, those addiciated to me. Tks!

The stories were interesting.I liked that I could heared the stories in Swedish language and I could read the subtitles in the English language.This help me on the practice to the Swedish language that I studying. Very nice videos here. Good to listen to if learning Swedish (I can make out SOME of what the Swedes are saying). The people look lovely as do the cities in the background.
