Sweden.se is Sweden’s official website, which is publicly funded. We offer you an experience of contemporary Sweden through facts, music, films and images covering a wide range of topics. Sweden.se provides information in English as well as other languages.
There are five organizations behind Sweden.se: the Swedish Institute, the Swedish Government Offices including the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications, Invest Sweden, the Swedish Trade Council and VisitSweden.
Sweden.se is produced, operated and developed by the Swedish Institute, a public agency that promotes interest and confidence in Sweden around the world.
Other websites in the Sweden.se family are Blogs.sweden.se, Workinginsweden.se, Studyinsweden.se, Swedenintouch.se, Swedenbookshop.com and Imagebank.sweden.se.
We are also present on Facebook and Twitter.
We are working actively to increase the accessibility on Sweden.se. The Sweden.se design is based on the Swedish National Guidelines for Public Sector Websites (Vägledningen 24-timmarswebben), a Swedish adaptation of the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
