Sweden praised for its high CSR awareness
After a visit to Sweden US management coach/investor/author Mark Thompson now claims that many Swedish companies are role models in areas such as corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, but that their knowledge and experience should be spread across the world market.
"It’s time for Sweden to come out of the closet," Thompson says. "It's time to get the word out, to take advantage of their experience of great tradition of entrepreneurship and social responsibility. Time to harvest and get paid for investments. The Swedes have a strategic advantage, but are much too humble and in my opinion blind of their own value."
