Arrival
Chances are you may not arrive directly into Sweden when you fly to Europe. There are many connecting flights between Sweden and other major EU airports, so you might actually immigrate through a country other than Sweden.
You will have to go through passport control and immigration in the first EU country where you arrive, so be sure to have the necessary documents with you. From there you can continue onto Sweden, but should always travel with a valid passport to confirm your identity.
